Web Developer Tools

  1. Fangs Screen Reader Emulator This Firefox add-on allows developers to preview what their web site might look like to those who use screen readers.
  2. Cynthia Says Portal offers developers an opportunity to check for content errors related to Section 508 standards and/or the WCAG guidelines

Visual Evaluations

  • Color Wheel developed by Giacomo Mazzacato allows developers to check the foreground/background color combination for compatibility with those who are color blind.
  • Web Anywhere provides a free interface reader that can be accessed at any on-line computer.
